2000 Environmental Survey

In connection with Earth Day, we conducted Environmental Survey and presented the results at the "Earth Day 2000 Festival."

Collection rate: 55.3％

Analyses were conducted to compare the difference between people who brings their own bags to shopping and those who do not. The results were introduced in the Chunichi Shimbun (newspaper) on April 23rd, 2000.

2005 Environment & Lifestyle Survey

In connection with the "World Life & Environmental Exchange," we conducted Environment & Lifestyle Survey and presented the results at the Global Village in Aichi Expo site on July 15, 2005. We also conducted similar analyses to what we have done for the 2000 survey. In 2005, we distributed the survey nationwide and collected nearly 9,000 responses.

The rest of the nation- 5,292
Total - 8,728

We made comparisons between the results for 2000 survey and 2005 survey when the data were available. We have seen some clear difference among different regions and generations. We conducted separate analyses for Aichi prefecture and the rest of the nation because the difference in the numbers of samples was significant.
