On April 22nd and 23rd, 2000, we held "Earth Day 200 Festival" at Mochinoki Plaza, Hisaya Odori Park and Naka Ward Office Hall. Due to the good weather, there were 320,000 visitors at Mochinoki Plaza alone.

At Mochinoki Plaza, we set up 20 exhibition boooths to introduce environmental activities of companies and municipalities. We also organized an environmental game for people to particpate, a charity auction and a conert.

At Naka Ward Office Hall, we held an environmental seminar and invited Ryoko Nakano, actress, and Kuniko Tanioka, professor at Chukyo Women's University, as lecturers. We also held a violin concert, mini ballet performance and a concert using fine ceramic musical instruments.

In advance to the events, we conducted an environmental survey. We collected over 3,000 responses, analyzed the results, and presented at the Earth Day 2000 Festival.
